PRIMA Data Privacy & Farm Data Sovereignty Policy

1. The Farmer Data Sovereignty Charter

At PRIMA, we believe that agricultural telemetry generated on your land, by your machines, or through your operational labor belongs exclusively to you. We do not monetize, resell, or distribute your raw or aggregate farm data to commodity hedge funds, chemical manufacturers, seed conglomerates, or speculative traders.

2. Telemetry Ingested & Processed

To power the PRIMA Data Mesh and Neural Ag-Engine, we ingest the following data categories under your authorized credentials:

• Field telemetry: GPS coordinates, soil matric potential, electrical conductivity, canopy temperature.
• Machine telematics: ISOBUS 11783 CAN bus logs, fuel consumption, speed, implement force.
• Satellite imagery: Multispectral bands (NDVI, NDRE, EVI) cached for field boundaries.
• Operational records: Scale-ticket yields, seed hybrids, fertilizer application rates.

3. Cryptographic Security Standards

All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.3 with forward secrecy. Telemetry stored at rest is protected via AES-256 encryption with tenant-isolated cryptographic keys. Edge gateways in tractor cabs use authenticated mutual TLS (mTLS) to prevent man-in-the-middle interception.

4. Data Portability & Complete Deletion

You may export your complete operational history at any time in industry-standard open formats (GeoJSON, ISO-XML, CSV) with zero export fees. Upon subscription termination, all raw customer telemetry is purged from our production databases within 30 days.
